About this opportunity
Supports collaborative efforts in rural communities (population 10,000 or less) to strengthen towns through civic areas such as economic development, arts, public spaces, and education. Funds either planning (short-term planning activities) or implementation phases for new projects in their first three years. Requires broad community involvement, matching support, volunteer participation, and measurable outcomes within roughly 18 months. Excludes capital campaigns, ongoing operating support, and advocacy.
