Open Textbook Pilot Program
Offered by Office of Postsecondary Education · Federal Agency
About this opportunity
The Open Textbook Pilot Program, administered by the Employment and Training Administration on behalf of the U.S. Department of Education, is soliciting applications to support projects at eligible institutions of higher education or State higher education agencies. The program's core purpose is to fund the creation of new open textbooks and expand the use of open textbooks and course materials within degree-granting programs. A primary priority is to support projects demonstrating the greatest potential for achieving the highest level of student savings. This is to be accomplished through the sustainable, expanded use of open textbooks, particularly in high-enrollment courses or programs preparing individuals for in-demand fields.
