Davis Family Foundation General Grantmaking

Provides grants to tax-exempt 501(c)(3) educational, medical, and cultural/arts organizations (not public K-12 schools or organizations receiving church support). Geographic priority is Southern Maine, then other parts of Maine; other New England is low priority. Trustees meet quarterly to consider requests. The Foundation generally awards one-year project grants, does not normally fund general operating support or annual campaigns, and generally does not make multiple-year awards.
